Did you know that transgender people are twice as likely to have a college degree but three times as likely to be unemployed? Or that in some states you can still be fired for being gay?
These are the issues that are facing LGBTQ entrepreneurs, and Caleb Arring and Matthew VanHorn are working to change the world of business for people within this community. They’ve taken their amazing talents and funneled them into bringing LGTBQ entrepreneurs into a business niche to vibe and thrive together.
We dive into their earlier lives, Caleb’s transgender journey, their relationships with themselves and each other, the beauty of openness and gender fluidity, and finding your place in the world. Join us for some juicy goodness on Episode 35 of Ignite Intimacy, Gender Fluidity & Being True to You with LGBTQ Entrepreneurs Caleb Arring and Matthew VanHorn!
About Caleb and Matthew:
After suffering with confusion, self-loathing, and an eating disorder as a teen, Matthew overcame shame, guilt, and fear through the Celebrating Your Body Erotic workshop, and now makes a point of being naked as much as possible. Identifying as queer, he has expanded his talents for relationship coaching to include the business world.
Caleb is a queer identified transgender man who first identified as a lesbian, then transitioned in the early 2000s. Using his Masters in Business Administration, he worked in management, then as an attorney, before creating LGBTQ Entrepreneur with Matthew.
Together for 3 years, and engaged, Caleb and Matthew live and work in the San Francisco Bay area, and make partner to partner communication a priority in their relationship.
