She said, "What was on the market didn’t resonate with my view of what sexuality was. For me, sexuality was always deeply intertwined with intimacy and even romance. I couldn’t find anything at the time that gave me that feeling."
 
After a dare from her college classmates, Isabelle chose to focus her senior project on developing a new sex toy that would be safe, aesthetically pleasing and effective without batteries.
